The Dark Side of the Swatch

So, in order to cope while I wait for the rest of my Black Friday purchases to arrive, I've decided to start taking swatches of my major Shiro Cosmetics stash. Beginning with my favorite shades of all....DARK SHADES!

*All swatches taken over NYX primer, and in natural sunlight

Full Arm Swatch

Arm Swatch (w/Flash)

Two-Faced (Seasonal)

Blackened brownish-purple with an orangey sheen.
This is more of a lighter liner for me, and it is especially great on those days where I don't feel like having super black liner, but more of a softer one. I didn't really get as much of the orangey sheen, but it was jam packed with sparkle power.

Pumpkin King (Seasonal)
Blackened smokey bronze loaded with bright golden sparks.

This color just shouts autumn at me. I seriously need to use it more since it's still fall where I live (curse you Northeastern lack of snow). Even though in this picture it may not look super duper dark, when I blend it out/foil it, it looks a lot darker than it is right here.
It seems as though I have a thing for dark colors with lots of sparkles....

I'll Move That For You

Blackened amethyst with bright purple sparkle.
I should preface this review with the fact that I was a complete minecraft junkie until about a year ago, so when I got this sample with my first purchase, I was super duper excited to wear it. This is a liner that I wear on occasion, and I always get complimented on it when I do.

Burdened With Glorious Purpose
Blackened semi-metallic olive-gold.
I can honestly say that I bought this color at first purely for the name, like seriously, t-hiddles is amazing in that role. Then I got the color and I fell in love with it. Foiled out as a liner, it has this amazing duochromey gold, green, black going on that makes me wanna shake my head in the sunlight so I can see all the colors.

Lingered In Twilight

A twilit forest: blackened blue and green tones with slightly metallic shimmer.
My #1 favorite liner color of all time. It looks super green in this picture, but when I apply it wet (as I do most of the time with liners), it becomes this nice black color with a touch of green which is perfect for everyday wearing.

Attercop, Attercop

Matte black base with the deep blue iridescence of an insect’s carapace.
This is a newer color for me that I picked up on my last order from Shiro. I was looking for some more liner colors I could wear so that I wouldn't be stuck wearing the same ones every single day. This is such a pretty color, and it pairs extremely well with some of the black/navy dresses I have.

That Man is Playing Galaga

Pure black with loads of fine rainbow glitter.
Two words. Glitter. Bomb. It was so hard to get a decent swatch of it because it was hard to put on dry without smudging it around everywhere. But when I wear it, I feel like my inner rainbow is coming out and spewing glitter all over the world. I love this color so very, very much.

Overall:

I typically use all or most of these shades as liners, seeing as I am not great at smoky eyes, and normally look like a raccoon. My three main liners that I use the most are, Lingered in Twilight, That Man is Playing Galaga, and Attercop, Attercop. I'm planning on trying to use the other colors more, because they are also so pretty and I wanna have more variety in what I wear on my eyes.

BONUS: All the colors with flash!!
